Partial Hospitalization
Program (PHP)

Treatments to meet the needs of each client.

PHP is a substance abuse/mental health care program designed to replace the traditional residential treatment model. This program is a great option after the completion of a medical detox, when the individual has achieved a degree of stability. In GateHouse’s PHP, clients spend six hours per day, six days a week in a mixture of group and individual counseling sessions. Afterwards, clients are transported to our residences with 24-hour staff supervision. .

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Live your life while remaining safe and secure.

IOP is a substance abuse/mental health level of care designed to transition the client from Residential or PHP treatment back into the community. IOP may be a good treatment option for individuals needing more support than just once-a-week counseling. In GateHouse IOP, clients undergo intensive group and individual therapy, family therapy sessions and case management evaluation.

Program (OP)

Receive treatment while engaging in daily life.

At this point in the program, clients should have steady employment, attend meetings, and be working a 12-step program with a sponsor. They are still required to participate in weekly one-on-one sessions with their primary therapist and case manager, in addition to two group sessions each week.
